A DANICS Officer Is Attempting Hard To Re-Establish His Power Broker Syndicate In Delhi Police?

One DANICS officer who returned to Delhi a few years back is trying to regain his influence and re-establish a power broker syndicate in Delhi Police, top sources say. During the tenure of one former Delhi police commissioner, he(DANICS officer)  managed to establish a syndicate with a few low to middle-ranking officers under the patronage of one former Delhi police commissioner. Surprisingly, some highly placed sources say that this DANICS officer was once a close confidant of a Union Cabinet Minister through which he subverted the power corridors of Delhi Police, and managed to establish a syndicate with former CP. This syndicate extensively influenced the transfer postings of officers, and in some cases even stalled some of them. This evidences how heavy and deep the syndicate was in operation in Delhi Police during that time. Power corridors and well place sources often regard that time as one of the difficult times when powerbrokery became a daily affair in Delhi Police and internally, everyone's power almost went into cold storage. Even Special Commissioners did not want to take a head on battle with this syndicate because of the former CP. "It was this DANICS officer and the syndicate who had taken over the Delhi Police's administration in a de-facto manner", a senior officer in the condition of anonymity said.  Top sources in MHA add "Almost on daily basis we received communications from one or other quarters or from bureaucrats complaining about how this DANICS officer misused and misusing his political link( minister's name) to operate this syndicate with former CP and even went to harass some officers to keep his powerbrokery game on". Resultantly, this development and former CP became an eyesore in the eyes of MHA, especially the Union Home Secretary. Some even went on to say that Home Secretary almost debarred former CP from taking appointments for personal meetings. This shows how disgust was power corridors from the former CP and the syndicate.   Well, after the regime changed, this syndicate went defunct as it lost the patronage of the former Delhi Police Commissioner. Top sources say that this DANICS officer is again trying hard to subvert and re-establish his syndicate in Delhi Police. However, power corridors say that the present Delhi Police leadership under the present Delhi Police Commissioner is of impeccable integrity and it is almost impossible now to re-establish any syndicate or shake the current Delhi police dispensation.
