Centre Rejects Kerala's request to increase DGP level posts

The Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) has rejected the Kerala Government’s demand to increase more posts of the Director General of Police (DGP). According to sources, Kerala Government wanted two more posts at the rank of DGP however, citing Punjab's case center rejected the state government's proposal. It has also been learned that after rejection, the state government of Kerala dropped the proposal.
