Delhi Police Needs Strong Second- In Command: Laltendu Perfect Man To Fill In Boots?

In a significant development in the power corridors, it has been learned from top sources that Delhi Police Commissioner is still looking for a strong second-in-command in the force. It also appears that establishing a strong structural command is what the present CP is focusing on rather than jumping into the planning of long-term reforms. Forthcoming bunch of transfers from down to up hierarchy will likely drop such indications. However, what is surprising is that there is a hush-hush in the power corridor of weighing Laltendu Mohanty's name as a strong choice for Delhi Police. Without a doubt, Laltendu's brilliant operational experience outshines many so-called giants sitting in the headquarters. Though the chances of Mohanty returning back to J&K cannot be ignored but there is also no denying in the fact that he can be a strong face of the second-in-command of Delhi Police.  In case, the latter happens then Mohanty most likely will replace Sundari Nanda or H.GS Dhaliwal.
