Exclusive: Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag's First Reshuffle On Cards

In a major development, it has been learned from top sources that the Delhi Police Commissioner may soon carry out his first reshuffle after taking up the charge. Top sources add that Special CP level, the current Traffic Chief, Manish Aggarwal, is most likely to be shifted to Special CP Armored, while recently elevated Special CP Sindhu Pillai, who returned from Andaman& Nicobar Islands, is likely to be the next Traffic Chief of Delhi Police.  Top sources add that Vivek Kishore, who recently returned from Arunachal Pradesh,is most likely to replace Rajesh Khurana as Special CP, Finance and Provisioning Division.

Interestingly, top sources add that Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag has decided to continue the practice of appointing an OSD at the rank of Joint CP. Sources add that the incumbent OSD, Sanjay Jain, will not continue as OSD and is most likely to be shifted to Joint CP, New Delhi Range. Top sources add that current Joint CP Traffic Sanjay Tyagi is most likely to be appointed as the next OSD to CP, while the frontrunner for the OSD post, Manishi Chandra, is most likely to stay in the CP Secretariat.  Meanwhile, the Joint CP, New Delhi Range, Deepak Purhohit, is most likely to be shifted as Joint CP, Licensing.

At the Additional CP level, sources said that Varsha Sharma, who recently returned from Goa, is most likely to be appointed as Additional CP (Crime or Vigilance).  Sources further add that Joint CP Ajay Sharma is most likely to replace Tyagi as Joint CP Traffic.
