Interpol Specialist Seeks VRS From IPS, To Start New Innings In World's Largest Police Organization

According to major development, it has been learned that M.M Oberoi(IPS:UT:1992) has sought VRS from the service. At present Oberio is working in Interpol and some top sources say that now Oberio is all set to get fully absorbed in Interpol and that too at the top echelons of Interpol. Top sources say that Oberio's VRS has been accepted by the center. One senior officer said, "Oberio had an extensive tenure and working experience with Interpol, perhaps after Praveen Sinha he is someone who has specialized himself in International policing and various aspects of specialized crimes". Oberoi at the top echelons of Interpol will strengthen India's diplomatic and institutional coordination with Interpol. Some also say that Oberoi has quite good diplomatic and negotiation skills. Sources close to Oberoi also say that he is a shy and sincere officer who knows to work in silence and deliver the best.
