MHA Becoming Tough on AGMUT IPS Officers: Taking Away The Commissioner Dreams To Slashing Out From Central Deputation?

MHA Becoming Tough on AGMUT IPS Officers: Taking Away The Commissioner Dreams To Slashing Out From Central Deputation?

It seems that the Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) is turning its head on with AGMUT IPS officers. According to the top and well-placed sources it has been learned that recently MHA has passed adverse comments over an IPS officer of Additional CP rank who sought central deputation. Sources add that comments were quite adverse and were indicative of corrupt behavior to doubtful integrity. It has also been said that this Additional CP rank officer worked closely with one former CP. This is not the first time an AGMUT cadre IPS officer faced MHA's heat. One female IPS of DCP rank had sought central deputation at the SP level but was ignored by the Home Ministry due to her terrible performance/ tenure as DCP, top sources said. These events of ignoring and passing adverse comments show that MHA is becoming tough on the AGMUT cadre IPS officers. A top source said that "first MHA took away Commissioner's dream from the cadre and now slashing these officers out from central deputation, this is maybe worst treatment emitted out to a cadre" The reasons for this toughness is also quite clear, over past few years corruption is breeding inside this cadre and perhaps leaving a few state cadres AGMUT cadre officers are now gradually coming under the spotlight for all wrong reasons and this may be the reason which forced the Home Ministry to take the sword out.  Sidelining AGMUT officers for central deputation and taking away the top helm demands a pressing need to look back once to get back the lost glory of the AGMUT cadre. As Delhi Police is on the path of becoming an advance and tough police force its cadre officers have to realise that in reality the old days of AGMUT cadre "elitism" and cliche "lobby politics" have gone because power corridors seem to have lost interest in playing long shots for AGMUT cadre IPS officers. Therefore AGMUT cadre has now to stand firm and deliver its best to regain its elite image.
