MHA Is Planning An Interesting Reshuffle To Place DGs In CAPF?

As ripples of DG appointments increase, MHA is certainly planning to play a different ball game, top sources say. The delay in appointing DGs and a few days back the appointment of Rashmi Shukla as DG SSB could be a dropping hint of an interesting appointment or reshuffle being in offing. The top and well placed sources say that a DG of CAPF maybe shifted to another paramilitary organization and another DG rank officer serving in the center is likely to get one CAPF to lead. It has also been said that a number two of one CAPF may get an opportunity to lead CAPF. Intense lobbying is being played out in North and South Block for setting the stage for giving some shape to this line of appointments, interestingly, the top brass is also quite inclined toward the same thought. However, no one knows how last moment changes may factor in CAPF appointments, top sources add.
