No Extension To UP DGP, Parachute Landing From New Delhi Cannot Be Ignored?

In a major development, it has been learned from top sources that present UP DGP D.S Chauhan is not going to get any extension. With this, all rumors of Chauhan's extension have been laid to rest which almost swamped power corridors a few weeks back. Since extension is ruled out, additional charge at the top helm or full-fledged DGP are still a talking point in power corridors. However, according to some top sources, one IPS officer from center might gear up soon for Lucknow keeping the procedural requirements of appointment in mind.
