SC Agrees To Examine Rakesh Asthana's Appointment as Delhi Police Commissioner

In yet another surprising move, Supreme Court has agreed to examine/ review the appointment of Rakesh Asthana as Delhi Police Commissioner. Further Court has also agreed to dwell into the question that whether the guidelines of Prakash Singh's Judgement are applicable to the appointment of Delhi Police Commissioner or not.  The bench headed by CJI Chandrachud and P.S Narishma has decided to review the whole appointment process of the Delhi Police Commissioner.
