Secret Feedback And Special CP Reshuffle: A Crucial Rejig To Set Delhi Police For G20?

Secret Feedback And Special CP Reshuffle: A Crucial Rejig To Set Delhi Police For G20?

A lot of developments are brewing these days with Delhi Police, 4-5 Special CP rank officers returned to Delhi after spending almost year outstation, some even are back from central deputation. Influx of Special CPs in Delhi Police where most of them are yet to get their place in Delhi Police and those who are sitting are on their toes expecting a likely reshuffle which include moving out of Delhi. A mixed scenario is currently defines the power corridors of Delhi Police where at one end officers are rushing pillar to post for G-20 and at one end officers are busy in calculating their fate. Top sources say a crucial rejig is imminent in Delhi Police for two reasons 1) Filling up the vacuum in Delhi Police which is created by soon retiring officers and stationed officers at MHA. 2) Secret Feedback shared by competent authority to MHA.  The first part is self explanatory whereas the second part requires some attention. Top sources say feedback communication to MHA is something which is not new, in past many officers moved out by the Home Ministry based on performance and feedback. However, the G-20 running in the background will play a significant role this time. Top sources add that a final rejig will take place to set the final team going to oversee G-20 preparedness in the capital, feedback of some Special CPs was communicated to MHA few days ago through the channel of competent authority”.  This feedback process is important in two aspects- first, AGMUT cadre IPS officers have landed under spotlight for all wrong reasons in past few months and therefore, feedback of Special CPs at such crucial juncture become necessary, 2) the second aspect is  MHA second thoughts over few AGMUT officers, in past we have seen Delhi Police IPS officer were denied central deputation and few of them got adverse remarks on their CR dossier. All of this make MHA to be a little more cautioned and take more interest in Delhi Police affairs. At present MHA pushes all its hopes over the shoulder of the top brass of Delhi Police which are very few and this further puts MHA in a position to smell an opportunity to make a coordinated decision with current top brass of Delhi Police. Now, as far as the question of rejig is concerned,  top source say that Law and Order and Traffic divisions might be impacted by this incoming rejig.
