According to top sources, it has been learned that Jitender Kumar IPS, belonging to the 1993 batch and Bihar cadre, is likely to be appointed as the next DG BPR&D. Top sources said that Kumar's clearance for central deputation has almost been given the green light by the state government. He is currently serving as DG Special Armed Police and is scheduled to retire in April 2030.
