The organizing secretary of the BJP is the new power centre in the party and government sources say. This post was always considered important. He completed the task given to take resignation from Viplav Deo, the then CM of Tripura, and Rupani of Gujrat source says. Santosh also remained a key figure on behalf of BJP's highest authorities to install new governments in both the states and getting selected new CMs as per the choice of Delhi source says. Making calls to inform the ministers to be dropped and leaders of their induction into the cabinet also performed by him during the reshuffle source says. Santosh is performing these tasks due to the heavy workload on the shoulder of the present HM source says. These new responsibilities have made him a new alternative epicentre of the power in the present setup source says.
