Despite the best efforts and promises to the state leaders, the differences are not coming to an end sources say. The state is going for elections within nine months and differences in the party are likely to cost much source says. The transport minister recently went on record to say that he wants to see Siddaramaiah as CM of the state source says Sriramulu is a very strong and popular leader of Bellary, a stronghold of BJP. Bommai, the CM is not able to control the ministers and party leaders and the source says his ineffectiveness is likely to cost the party much in coming elections. Another leader of BJP, Basan Gauda Patil said that if he is made CM candidate, he will surely win 150 assembly seats out of 224 total seat source says. The other very strong Lingayat leader Yediyurappa, the ex-CM, also plays a very important role in state politics probably bringing him out from state politics without consideration of his age BJP has made him the member of the highest party policy-making body source says. Now it will be interesting to see how Bommai will control the party in the absence of Yediyurappa.
