BJP Not Accustomed To Coalition Dharma?
The NDA has formed the government, but with only 240 seats, the BJP, the senior partner in the coalition, is perhaps feeling suffocated due to forced considerations, a source says. The JD(U) and TDP, two major constituents of the coalition, want their share of flesh, source says. Nitish Kumar has said that whatever has been not done will be given by the government, his indirect hint was to have a special status package for the state and desired berths the cabinet source says. Similarly, Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP chief, hopes to have the special package and is eyeing the Speaker post in the parliament source says. BJP during the last ten years of rule has authoritatively discharged as per their choice source says. Now, scenes changed and will have to take coalition partners along, perhaps not accustomed to it, source says.
