BJP To Bet On Brahmin Face In Ralibareli?

Congress won only one seat in the last parliamentary elections from Raibareli. BJP is not comfortable with this one seat of Congress and is trying all formulations and combinations to win the Raibareli seat, a source says. It’s not sure who will contest this seat, the Congress party source says. Rumours are that Priyanka Gandhi is likely to be placed in the place of her mother, Sonia Gandhi, the source says. After going through all caste combinations and balances, the BJP is planning to give the ticket to one Brahmin face to challenge Priyanka Gandhi if she contests, a source says. Brejesh Pathak, Manoj Pandey, Kumar Vishwas and one Rajesh Dixit, one time very confidant of Late Mulayam Singh, are the probable candidates, a source says.
