BJP To Improve Relations With RSS?

BJP seems learnt the lesson and wants to forget the statement given by the president of the party to a newspaper that the BJP does not require the support of the RSS and is strong enough to take care of its affairs source says. RSS leaders San Arun Kumar, Dattatreya Hasbole and Sunil Soni are taking a similar stand as the chief of RSS source says. Sunil Soni is very close to BJP leadership as well as to Shivraj Singh Chauhan and it is said that this relationship only helped Shivraj Singh to get a ministerial seat in the cabinet source says. BJP government recently withdrew the decade-old order prohibiting government employees from taking part in the RSS activities. The move is seen taken to woo the support of RSS but no enthusiasm has been shown by the RSS leadership a source says. It's said that if the government was so concerned why the order was not withdrawn the day BJP came to power ten years back source says. The chief of RSS seldom misses any chance to pass on criticism directly or indirectly on the functioning of government and leaders source says. RSS has also not shown any interest in forwarding any name for the president of BJP knowing well that Fadnavis is close to the top leadership of RSS, some quarters of BJP have forwarded his name for presidentship source says. This all acts to regain the support of RSS because the top leadership of BJP understood well that without the very active support of RSS, it would not be impossible to win the state assembly elections of three states due in the later months of this year source says.
