BJP To Take MCD Election Results Seriously, Fate of Seniors Hangs?
WITC
After tasting defeat in the MCD elections BJP has started to brainstorm on the performance of its candidates and analyze the performance of its key candidates. Sources say that BJP's assessment would determine the fate of key candidates in the upcoming 2024 elections. Further, it has been said that BJP's top command is surprised after a disappointing performance in Meenakshi Lekhi and Ramesh Bhaduri's constituencies. However, there were some positives- Manoj Tiwari and Harshvardhan's decent performance in the elections has shown the BJP's potential still remains on the ground. However, the underperformance of seniors has not gone well at the top command of the party and this will be noted while determining their candidature for a ticket or position in a cabinet reshuffle in near future, sources suggest.
