The Election Commission now announced schedules for the Gujrat state elections. BJP and AAP already started their election campaign long back with big rallies and road shows source says. In some circles, it was rumoured that the Congress party has already accepted defeat that’s why not in the fray sources say. Congress party adopted this time different strategy and instead of going for big rallies kept the leaders engaged in silent door-to-door campaign source says. After the announcement of election dates Congress came out with different strategies and it has planned for rallies and padayatra of around 5000 km. All leaders will travel in all 7 zones decided as the party source says. Kamalnath, Baghel, Gahlot, Digvijay Singh and Rajesh Pilot are likely to participate in yatras source says. It’s proposed that Yatra will start from Bhuj, Vadgam, Somnath, Fagwel and Jambsur and remain in all seven zones for more than seven days source says. Congress party has also announced that, if comes to power, will allow free medical treatment to Kissans up to Rs 10 lakhs, waive loans up to Rs 3 lakhs of Kissans, waive all pending electricity bills, create 10 lakhs government jobs, will pay all unemployed Rs 3000 as allowance and will open 3000 government schools source says. Congress also promised to pay Rs 4 lakhs to the victims of Covid 19 of all English medium schools source says.
