Congress Started The Dalit Gaurav Samwad Program

Congress is very aggressively campaigning in state elections this time and perhaps this will continue in the future. On 9th October Congress started the 'Dalit Gaurav Samvaad' program to be continued till 26th November source says. During the program, the Dalits will be asked to fill up a form indicating their demands source says. 9th October is the birthday of Late Kansi Ram and Congress feels that the rise of Late Kansi Ram on the political horizon resulted in a shifting of loyalty by the Dalits from Congress and perhaps to bring back the voters in their party this program was initiated by UP Congress source says. It’s planned to have at least 4,000 night chaupals almost 10 in every constituency source says.10 yatras at the division level and 80 big Samvaad, one each in every parliamentary constituency are also to be arranged by the party leaders source says. This is to make direct contact with at least one lakh influential persons of Dalit, OBC and other deprived caste source says. Apart party will get two lakh ‘Dalit Adhikar Maang Patr’ from the people of the community to know about their demands source says.
