Delay In Filing Appeal In Higher Court- Well Though Strategy?

It’s been more than seven days but Rahul Gandhi has not appealed against the verdict of the Surat court. The court has given thirty days to file an appeal against the judgment. Seems the Congress party is divided on the issue source says. Senior party leaders want that Rahul Gandhi should file the appeal in the higher court and personally go to voters with the plea that his voice is gaged by framing him in such cases source says. Rahul Gandhi and his present team think that going to jail will project him as a martyr and the Congress party will get sympathetic treatment from voters source says. BJP is more concerned about the decision because its future narrative will depend on the decision of the congress party source says. The delay is making leaders of the BJP more restless source says. Some say the Rahul Gandhi team is enjoying the restlessness of the ruling party source says.
