Everything Not Well With Congress's J&K Unit?

Senior state leaders want to report the activities of some party leaders to the high command. The main grievance is that the party in the state is acting as a clandestine supporter of PDP + BJP. Because of this, the Omar Abdullah government is not giving weightage to any suggestions forwarded, even though the party is a supporting party in the government, a source says. Leaders are also harbouring a grudge against the state president, Karra, who is said to be confident in Rahul Gandhi. He is not even visiting the constituencies or participating in or arranging any meetings with workers to boost their morale, leaders complain, a source says. The absence of activities is causing workers' morale to decline day to day, and in the upcoming elections, the party is likely to face tough challenges, the source says. Even Nasir Hussaun, the in-charge of the party at the headquarters, a personal choice of Kharge, is not seen on the ground and shows no interest in arranging rallies or meetings, the source says. The party leaders want such inactive leaders removed and a dynamic person appointed to reinvigorate the party, the source says.
