From Kashmir To Kanyakumar Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress

Congress party has planned to organize the biggest padayatra under the leadership of ex-President of the Congress Rahul Gandhi source says. Harish Rawat said that this 3500 km yatra will pass through 15 states and two UTs. He added that this pad yatra is in protest of a steamroller and disruptive government sources say. All the prominent leaders of Congress to take part including Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi in the pad yatra. To create a foolproof program a committee under the leadership of Digvijay Singh was formed for the Bharat Jodo Yatra to be held between 9th August to 15th August to spread messages of belongingness of all persons without looking at their cast and creed source says. To coordinate this non-election move of the party in such a huge way a committee has also been formed with Digvijay Singh, Tharoor, Sachin Pilot, Ravneet Singh Bitto, K J George, Mani, Pradyut Bordoloi, Patwari and Salim Ahmad source says. Congress followers from Kerala, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, MP, Maharashtra, Gujrat, Rajasthan, UP, Haryana, and Punjab are likely to join the padayatra source says.
