G-23 Leaders Ignored For Re-nomination?

 Everyone was expecting Azad and Anand Sharma to get renomination for Rajya Sabha. Sources say that the acting president of the Congress party requested Azad to personally meet to discuss the issue. Azad was hospitalized but could not resist and came to meet but the news of denial of the ticket almost stunned him. Sources say Azad was expecting to get rewarded for his last fifty years of service to the party but denial affected his already poor health and had to go for medical treatment. Anand was also denied of ticket source says that was not taken well by Sharma. According to sources, he said to the madam that this is not good for the party because the absence of the party leader and deputy leader of Rajya Sabha together was likely to be absent to affect the party's position in the upper house. After all, the new entrants will not be experienced enough to tackle complex issues?
