Lunch Meeting On Christmas

It was a pleasant surprise for Christian eminent persons, representatives of Churches and prominent authorities of the community to receive an invitation for lunch on 25th December in the Race Course Road bungalow source says. Approximately 60 persons were invited, and PM freely interacted with them source says. Both host and guest avoided any political discussions or points of difference to maintain a cordial atmosphere source says. The important political BJP leaders in other places are also seen visiting Churches and prominent personalities of the Christian community with best wishes cake on the occasion of Christmas source says. This time no cards or gifts were distributed as was during the last important festival by the political persons in their localities source says. BJP after coming to power canceled the holiday of the 25th and announced to celebrate the day as ‘ Sudarshan Diwas’ being the birthday of Late Atal ji source says. The move is seen as a step to appease the Christian community keeping in view the fast-approaching Lok Sabha and Kerala assembly elections source says. The support of the community in both elections is crucial because BJP is not ready to lose even a single seat source says.
