The ex-finance minister in the Akali government and cousin of the Akali Dal chief does not seem satisfied with his current political status, a source says. He was given responsibility by the BJP to improve its presence in local bodies, but unfortunately, the BJP is now fifth in the row, a source says. This has diluted his position and might not get the importance he expects during the coming state elections, the source says. The seasoned leader, considering all these aspects, perhaps exploring the options, the source says the Congressman has already invited him to rejoin, but to date he has not decided and adopting policy of wait and watch, the source says.
