Mayawati To Work For Muslims- Dalit To Strengthen Party Position?

In the last elections, BSP could not do better and taking that lesson now Mayawati is trying to bring back the lost supporters to do fairly well in the 2024 elections source says. She is continuously raising controversial issues related to Muslims and has gone on record in their favour source says. She said on Twitter that the UP government is trying to curb the activities by declaring nearly 7500 madarsas unauthorised and further added that this action is just to stop the running of these madarsas without taking into consideration that these madarsas are not inclined to take government help and managing their affair by taking donations source says. By this act rather they are reducing the burden of government and these madrasas are allowed to continue source says. In the meantime, Imran Masood of Saharanpur, a senior member of the Samajwadi party has joined BSP thus giving a chance to the BSP to strengthen its party position in this Muslim-dominated area source says. BSP is also planning to contest local area elections in the state source says.
