Arjun Singh, MP from Barrackpore and Vice President of state BJP left the party and joined TMC. In 2019 he joined BJP leaving TMC and got elected source says. After the resignation, the party high command constituted a fact-finding committee to know the reason for the resignation source says. The revelation of the report was quite shocking. In the report, it was mentioned that when Singh along with a delegation of jute growers and dealers met the concerned minister to present their case before the minister sources say the minister rebuked the MP that how does he involve in the matter in front of the other delegates.
