New Team of Nitin Nabin On Horizon?

The new president had to manage many critical matters and consider compulsions to streamline the central team's functioning for the future. The president is energetic, with a very strong vision for the party and the country, and wants to build the team of his dreams to deliver on the ground, sources say. It's not for the short term; the vision is for the very long term, with a strong inner strength to tackle all future challenges, the source says. The new team was probably finalised in a meeting at the defence minister’s residence, the source says. Almost all senior leaders responsible for managing the party were present.

Unanimously, perhaps agreed by all, that B L Santosh and Shiv Prakash are to remain as they are, likewise Sunil Bansal and Arun Singh are to continue, but some differences surfaced for Chug, so most likely the president is to take a call on him, the source says. Rumours are in the corridor about Vinod Tawde joining the central cabinet, so a new face is most likely to join the team as general secretary. Most likely, two new general secretaries are to join in place of Radhamohan Das Aggarwal and Dushyant Gautam, the source says. A major change in the cadre of eleven vice presidents is being proposed; it has also emerged that some senior party leaders, who have given their lives to strengthen the party, are likely to be adjusted as Governors, Chairmen, and Presidents of corporations, boards, etc., a source says. Probably after this 16th June meeting, the president has given the final shape to his new Nabin team, and, after the PM's return from the G7 meeting on 19 th, forwarded it to him for his approval, the source says. If everything goes well, the announcement will take place after the president's return from the Punjab tour, the source says.
