Nitish Kumar In Search Of New Alignment

Bihar CM took a high risk by granting freedom to a Rajput strong political person from prison Anand Mohan, sources say. He was sentenced by a court for killing one Dalit IAS officer. The source says the Rajput leader is capable to influence voters of many constituencies source says. The internal reports presented to the CM of Bihar indicated that if BJP takes Chirag Paswan into its fold Dalits are likely to shift to BJP source says. The release of Anand Mohan probably further annoyed the Dalits source says. This hint probably helped the CM to take this risk though his political career started and continues on the policies to uplift the downtrodden, Dalits, OBC etc source says. The calculated move of Nitish Kumar at a time when he is trying to forge unity amongst all the opposition political parties to challenge surprised many stalwarts source says.
