OBC Policy And Kamalanth In MP Politics

The Congress party is banking on the OBC voters by raising the issue of share in the country per the population a source says. Rahul Gandhi, senior leader of the Congress party says in public meetings that out of four present CMs of the party, three are OBC and BJP has only one OBC chief minister out of ten in total source says. One group of Congress party think tanks feels that after elections party must opt for an OBC chief minister instead of going with Kamalnath source says. They further argue that the OBC voters shifted towards BJP after a serious attempt by Uma Bharti and Shiv Raj Singh’s policy of kamandal in the state source says. They say that to date Congress has forwarded only Brahmin and Rajput leaders in the state and both BJP leaders being OBC played their game well to strengthen the Bhagwa source says.
