The ‘Operation Tiger’ is not a new project, but the groundwork was laid under the guidance of the member of parliament's son, the deputy CM of Maharashtra and his very close associate and friend, now national coordinator and chief strategist of the Shiv Sena, (Eknath Shinde). The son of ex-Congress leader Shrikant Verma and Veena Verma is the main person behind the entire show after getting himself cleared of almost all cases against him. He is the architect of many other operations to provide the best solutions to his political bosses. The lavish parties at the farmhouses of influential persons, if considered important, are the main places where dignitaries were convinced to follow the future course.

In some parties, even Eknath Shinde, along with his wife, also participated, the source says. Some political observers say that DMK is already on the target, and the close friendship of Verna with A Raja and Kanimozhi is likely to bring some results soon, if Stalin and his son Udhayanidhi Stalin agree, the source says. They feel that the politics of the party is based on anti-Hindi and BJP is a supporter of Hindi, and hence the difference in basic politics is likely to narrow down the base of DMK, the source says. Moreover, DMK wants two seats in the central cabinet, one in finance and the second as state minister in telecommunications, a source says. Perhaps the BJP is ready to give telecommunication but rejected for the finance portfolio, a source says.  How Verma acts to convince both needs to be watched carefully in the future, the source says.
