Opposition Parties To Work On Common Minimum Program?
WITC
Opposition parties are very hopeful to forge unity under a common minimum program after coming out of JD(U) from the NDA, the source says. Practically if seen leaving the support of small regional parties, NDA is not having any permanent ally though the party of Mr Reddy of Andhra Pradesh, AIADMK and BJD supports but the supports are on an issue basis the source says. All regional parties are having their interest in states so to come forward to support BJP openly on all subjects and in parliamentary elections likely to have reservations source says. Mr Sharad Pawar, the veteran leader is already gone on record that he will try to bring all opposition parties under one umbrella to follow the common minimum program for the 2024 elections source says. JD(U)after coming out from the alliance of BJP is trying to project Mr Nitish Kumar as a prime minister candidate. The aggressive campaign also started and with the rally in Patna probably JD(U) will try to show its strength and put forward the claim of Nitish Kumar source says. It will be interesting to see how the congress party will respond to the prime ministerial claim of Nitish Kumar source says.
