Reasons For Defeat of Samajwadi Party?

Strangely both the parliamentary seats, Azamgarh and Rampur have gone to BJP source says it was considered earlier that SP has a very strong hold on both the places. To avoid strenuous action knowing well the outcome SP chief avoided which resulted in the loss of both the seat source says.
