Remarkable Change Towards TV Channels of Congress, TMC and SP?

Remarkable Change Towards TV Channels of Congress, TMC and SP?

Perturbed by the negative projections of so-called free, independent TV channels, some parties stopped deputing their official spokesperson in the debates, a source says. Congress Party was one of the parties source says. TV channels without representation of parties became handicapped and to get TRP, the channels created one cadre/ group of people naming them as the sympathiser source says. These so-called sympathisers are not the official representative of parties but claims in the debate that they sympathise with Congress, SP or TMC, as labelled by the channels, the source says. Questions and answers are provided in advance and channels are used to get comments on any subject they want different from actual party line source says. The viewers get confused and accept the views as said in debate though not of party line source says. This was giving a very wrong signal and crafting the wrong image of the party in public source says. To curb this tendency and present the actual mindset of the party, the congress party now decided to allow party representatives to participate in debates and put forth the party line strongly source says. CM of Chattisgarh source says has also sponsored one conclave at Raipur, though he did not attend himself due to the past anti-history of the channel and anchors source says. Recently SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav has also given an interview to a lady anchor at his residence, who happened to label him as ‘Toti Chor’ some time back when he vacated the government bungalow source says. This remarkable change in the style of functioning of opposition parties has almost closed the shop of sympathisers created by the media source says. The official representatives in debates still complain that the BJP spokespersons are getting preferential treatment and importance during debates, and sometimes the anchors used to teach them what to say while answering some pointed questions, the source says. Media is to work independently, being the fourth pillar of democracy, without compromising anything to bring facts to the knowledge of the public/ viewers source says
