Return of V George?

  It is said that V George was the man behind getting the name of Ms Margaret Alva selected for the Vice President position source says. V George was very confident of Late Rajeev Gandhi and 10, Janpath but later due to some reasons, he had to go out but now after the exit of Madhvan due to rape charge source says George has come back to manage the affairs of 10, Janpath. He was so powerful earlier that in 1993 his name was forwarded to Late Narsimha Rao for nomination in the Upper house but Rao preferred Mrs Alva and the source says since then relations between them soured. Source says that it was Ms Alva, who had introduced George to the 10, Janpath, and seems by the passage of time they have patched up. Source says from 1993, Mrs Gandhi was having grudges against Ms Alva and for this reason, she was not considered for ministership during 2004 the reference is in the book titled’ Courage and Commitment’ authored by Ms Alva herself. Source say later when Ms Sonia Gandhi eased in relation only then in 2009 she was made Governor. Rapprochement in the close cadre is likely to help the top leadership to rejuvenate the part soon source says.
