Revival Of NDA After Long GAP?
NDA was a force to reckon with during Late Atal JI’s time, but after 2014 it started losing its shine and almost gone in the background source says. The formation of I.N.D.I.A by opposition parties probably necessitated remembering the old mates and now BJP is very sympathetic with all constituents of NDA source says. Recently a meeting of all NDA members was arranged, which was addressed by PM himself, source says. BJP wants that these constituents should not lose their grip in respective areas and send back as many more winners as possible in coming parliamentary elections source says. For a better understanding group of ten parties has been formed under one senior minister to take stock of the situation daily, the source says. Breakfast and lunch meetings of these groups are arranged separately from 31st July and concluded on 10th of August source says. The representatives were given the idea to win without any failure source says. All constituents are happy with the regard, response and help now being extended after a long gap source says. Akali Dal has maintained a distance from these meetings and is probably not ready to rejoin the NDA after an un-ceremonial exit from the alliance on the Kisan issue during agitation source says. Akali feels that going with BJP will further damage their credentials amongst Jaats and Jat in Punjab, source says. Considering the present strength of OBC, backwards in the state probably will go with BSP headed by Mayawati, who still happens to be a champion of these castes in the society source says. Time will only tell how much the damage control effort of the BJP succeeded, source says.
