RLD Again Active In Its Area of Influence?

 Election Commission has issued a notification for a by-election of Khautauli, Rampur assembly and Mainpuri, Lok Sabha. All the political parties are already on the front with their respective strategy source says. Vikran Saini, the sitting MLA from BJP was disqualified due to his involvement in the Muzaffarnagar and the seat went for a by-election source says. Mr Rajpal Singh of RLD was the runner-up on the seat. The chief of RLD and Rajya Sabha member, Mr Chaudhary said recently that as per the agreement and promise by SP, the Khautali seat will be given to the RLD and hence Party is trying with all its available resources to get his nominee back as a winner, source says. Mainpuri seat of Lok Sabha is gone for by-election due to the unfortunate demise of sitting MP source says. This seat is with the family since 1996 and the nomination of the wife of the chief of SP Akhilesh Yadav is seen as continuing the legacy of the family source says. Shivpal Yadav, younger brother of the Late Mulayam Singh Yadav once said that he would like to contest the seat if permitted by his brother source says but now no one knows what is going on in the family and the party leaders of Mr Shivpal Yadav said that head of PSPL will take the last call on the seat. Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat consists of five assemblies, out of five three seats are with SP and two with BJP source says. The nomination of Mrs Dimple Yadav is seen as a compromise formula to bring all factions of the family together source says.
