S Gurumurthy Remembered By BJP After Defeat in Tamil Nadu?

The former BJP state president has announced plans to form a new political party. The ex-IPS officer Annamalai worked very hard to establish the party's base in Tamil Nadu. He even undertaken padyatra to educate people about principle and policies of the party but on advice of Gurumurthy, the senior leaders of the party decided to form a coalition with AIDMK but the senior leaders of the AIDMK were not inclined to enter into till Annamalai is on the helm of affairs because he criticized the late ex CM severely in the past and present leaders so far could not forget nor ready to forgive him for that act source says.

Sensing the wind in favour of AIDMK, the BJP leadership decided to keep Annamalai behind the scenes and contested the election in coalition with AIDMK, a source says. Unfortunately, the coalition came third after Vijay’s party, the DMK source says.  In 2004, the NDA also got fewer seats due to the wrong selection of the coalition partner, and at that time, Gurumurthy's advice caused havoc; otherwise, the NDA would have formed the government, the source says. Now people are remembering the mistakes of yesteryear and regretting source says.
