Tamil Nadu BJP State President On Three Months Leave?

The Tamil Nadu BJP state president, K. Annamalai has been granted a three-month leave, which is highly unusual in the BJP, especially with state elections looming source says. Annamalai, who suffered a defeat in the recently concluded parliamentary elections, sought permission from the central leadership to take a study leave. Despite being confident of winning his seat, he was unsuccessful. He will be travelling to Britain to participate in a leadership program during his leave source says. This situation raises questions about how the BJP will respond, considering the criticism Rahul Gandhi faced when he went abroad after the elections. As of now, there are no rumours about a potential replacement for Annamalai source says.
