Varun Gandhi To Contest From Amethi?

Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Munshiganj, Amethi was established in the eighties. Presently it is run by the Sanjay Gandhi Trust managed by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Locals say this is the best hospital in the area and treats more than 1,500 patients per day. All facilities are available for examination source says. This has created uncomfortable situations for daily patients as well as the employees and traders around the hospital source says. Local people started agitation for re-opening, and Varun Gandhi, sitting MP from Pilibhit, the erstwhile seat of his mother, Menaka Gandhi, also started a campaign on X for re-opening considering the misery of local people source says. His voice could not make any dent in the state government but the Hon’ble High Court Bench at Lucknow cancelled the government order and asked for its immediate reopening though agreed to continue the investigation of the death source says.
