Why No Governorship To Captain?

 It was almost sure that Captain Amarinder Singh, the ex-CM of Punjab will be appointed as the Governor source says. His name was on the list and options for Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh etc. were given but the source says he was reluctant for Punjab only source says. The supporters are depressed with the actions of the central government and still hopeful that central leadership will make use of his stature and experience anywhere befitting to his stature source says.
