Kharge, the new president of the congress party announced the name of forty-seven members for the steering committee source says. As per the constitution of the congress party when a new president resumes the CWC automatically becomes defunct and in place, a steering committee works till a new CWC is formed source says. All the members of CWC are on the steering committee except Vivek Bansal, who came to light when Ajay Makan lost the Rajya Sabha election from Haryana source says. Some new members have been inducted but strangely name of Tharoor is missing, he contested against Khadge source says this has not been seen as a positive signal by many party leaders who opined that inclusion would have given a very positive signal for Kharge.
