Ashish Bhatia IPS,has been given an extension for the period of eight months by the Government of India

Ashish Bhatia IPS officer Gujarat 1985 batch, who is presently posted as DGP Gujarat Police has been given an extension for the period of eight months by the Government of India. Bhatia has earlier held the top job in Surat and was also DGP of state CID-Crime and Railways, An anti-terror expert, Bhatia is credited with playing a major role in solving the 2008 serial case in Ahmedabad.
