edit Written By: WITC Desk New Delhi event Tuesday, 23 September 2025 12:32 PM

The corridors of North Block was abuzz with extension of present Delhi Chief Secretary since weeks but the silence from the Ministry of Home Affairs speaks volumes. When it comes to Chief Secretary Dharmendra's potential extension, top sources reveal that the top brass at MHA has delivered what can only be described as a frosty reception to extension proposal/discussions of Delhi Chief Secretary.

With Dharmendra's departure now all but confirmed, Delhi's administrative landscape is witnessing a fascinating power play unfold with intensifying the race for next Delhi Chief Secretary who could be named soon.
