Haryana Government Holds Order of Appointing Rajesh Khullar as CM's Chief Principal Secretary?

In a surprising turn of events, the Haryana Government has put a hold on its order to appoint former IAS Rajesh Khullar as the Chief Principal Secretary to the Haryana Chief Minister with the rank of Cabinet Minister. After the Saini-led government's initial appointment of Khullar as the Chief Principal Secretary in CMO, the order was suddenly held, leaving many in the power corridors taken aback. A communication from Chief Secretary T.V.SN Prasad stated that the orders regarding the appointment of the Chief Principal Secretary to the CM are being kept in abeyance until further notice.

The power corridors are abuzz with speculation about a calculated move behind this development, which almost coincides with the last days of the Haryana Chief Secretary in his office. He is scheduled to retire by the end of this month, and the potential political implications of this timing have not gone unnoticed.
