Salvo Towards Naresh Kumar Is Completely Misfired
There is a famous saying by Adolf Hitler: "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed". A hard taskmaster and an efficient administrator, Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar has been gliding in political currents ever since he signed up as Chief Secretary last year. But, a man who believes in his instincts and hard task mastering steered well under heavy firing of political salvos. However, as he comes to the end of his tenure, he is now been pounded with political salvos, but this time, these salvos are being flanked from all the corners to encircle Kumar and derail his extension at one end and on the other, some hawkish bureaucrats and politicians will get something new to make them relevant in power corridors by launching propaganda against the Chief Secretary. If we closely pay attention to the fresh salvo fired on Naresh Kumar, then this is completely misfired. It seems that Hemant Kumar's illegal actions are being deliberately coloured to give a spillover effect on the Chief Secretary. The allegations which are being surfaced by some media houses are "assumption-based" and not "fact-based". Just making deliberate linkages and connecting dots with no explainable reasons make such so-called "reports and allegations" manufactured propaganda. Recently, two proactive developments came to light 1st- Chief Secretary has sent a legal notice to a media house. 2nd- Ashwani Kumar's holding a press conference and clearing the mess. A logical rebuttal to propagandists is that coincidence is not causation. It's a mere coincidence that Naresh Kumar's son is working in the company, which is currently in glare, but it is neither necessary nor backed by any proof that Naresh Kumar's linkages viz-a viz Son are causing any malafide activity. Rather, the malafide activity itself originated on the part of Hemant Kumar, who is desperately being arm-twisted so that it could drag the Chief Secretary into it. The argument will remain the same- Coincidence is not causation unless it is backed by a sufficient substance that this coincidence is leading to causation, which is, in this case, Naresh Kumar and his son and their connection to this illegal award passed by suspended IAS Hemant Kumar. Therefore, this fresh salvo on Naresh Kumar is ineffective and miserably misfired.
