The Long Standing Extension Game Ends

For 24 hours reports and sources swamped social media spaces discussing the extension of present Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana. However, today these discussions have been laid to rest by the official farewell orders by the Delhi Police Headquarters. According to some top sources, the Government till the very end brainstormed on all the possibilities and in end denied the extension to Rakesh Asthana. Furthermore, sources added that every senior police official has welcomed the decision of denying extension to Asthana and termed the decision as a wise one. On one hand, Asthana going to get a warm send off, and on the other hand, the names of the new Delhi Police Commissioner would start to surface.
