BJP Government Seriously Trying To Change Name or Manipuri?

In the last session, BJP tried to get the name of Mainpuri changed to Mainagar but all Panchayat of the area opposed the idea owing to their closeness with Mulayam Singh, sources say. BJP wants to give a jolt to Mulayam Singh's family now considered to be having a very strong hold on these are including Etah and Etawah. Sources say that Mulayam Singh probably did not appreciate the step proposed by the BJP government if resurfaced after the formation of the new government?
