Rahul Gandhi recently criticized the beautification of Jaliawala Bagh and said this is an insult to the freedom fighters. The Jaliawala Bagh has recently been beautified and inaugurated by PM in the presence of dignitaries virtually. Congress party is not happy after the removal of the Congress President from the committee as a permanent member instead the leader of the opposition has been nominated as a permanent member along with PM as President.Sources say by this amendment Mrs Sonia Gandhi has been replaced by an opposition leader. Congress party sources say thinks that is very closely associated with the freedom struggle has right to be in the committee constituted to manage everything related to the freedom struggle and consider humiliating of the removal, which distant the party from the honour and this is the reason why Rahul Gandhi said ‘Saheedon ka Apman’ because the Gandhi thinks that they are descended of front row freedom fighters and indirectly hinted of humiliation, sources say.
