Forty Percent Tickets Reserved For Women In UP?

General Secretary of Congress and in charge of UP from party Mrs Priyanka Gandhi announced in the press conference that Congress party will ensure forty percent tickets to women during the distribution of tickets sources say. She also issued one slogan" LADKI HUN.. LAD SAKTI HUN' and added that distribution of tickets will be not based on caste but only on merit and also said that date for women candidates for submission of application for consideration of tickets has been extended from 15th October to 15th November. Ms Mayawati said in a statement that this is only a gimmick of Congress party, she added that when the party gets power forgets Dalits and the poor and when out of power to regain power comes at the door of Dalits sources say. The slogan and promise to give participation to women in power by Congress party has given sleepless nights to many strategist sources say?
